Around Løgumkloster Refugium

The Retreat lies in a beautiful nature environment at Bredeå, which winds across the landscape, and Draved forest and the King's Marsh not far from it. And not to forget the village of Løgumkloster, here lies many white houses and a marketplace. The Church bells and King Frederik the IXth Carillon resounds beautifully in the wind during the day and the evening.

You can use Løgumkloster Refugium as a base from which you can explore the rest of Southern Jutland and Slesvig. The cities of Tønder, Aabenraa, Flensborg and Husum lie within a manageble radius with unique experiences in each.

The Marsh Land and the National Park The Wadden Sea lie approximately 20 kilometers away from the Retreat. It is possible to collect oysters and in the fall it is possible to see the flock of starlings, before they go to sleep.

You have the option to join tours, which we can provide all year round with visits to exciting locations, or you can arrange your own tour.
